  • Cailee Walden, MS, PMHNP-BC

As a practitioner, I believe that each individual has the potential and ability to achieve their vision of health and wellness. The foundation of my practice is connection, safety, and flexibility – all designed to meet people where they are. I utilize psychotherapy, medications, and holistic treatment to align with people and help provide structure, support, and hope.

Together, we will set goals, build resiliency, and assess patterns and barriers to achieving those goals. I work with each person to determine what well-being looks like in the context of their life and goals. I have worked with a broad range of people but specialize in working with individuals struggling with Bipolar, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders, and Substance Use. I also work with individuals coping with grief, trauma, and relational issues.

My nursing experience involved working with chronic mental illness and substance use disorders in community and inpatient mental health settings. I received my Masters degree in nursing from New York University as a psychiatric nurse practitioner with a subspecialty treating substance use disorders. During my training, I treated the severely persistently mentally-ill with co-occurring disorders, and also trained in private practices.

  • Kristen Arden, DNP, PMHNP-BC

My treatment approach is one that is humanistic, meeting a person where they are at and being non-judgemental. I believe in helping a person identify the upstream core of what is causing the harmful ripple effects throughout their lives. Then helping them heal at the core while also cope in more healthy ways with the damaging downstream effects. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and addictions through the use of alternative therapies and is a registered Suboxone provider.

  • Michelle Knapp, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FIAAN

In my 20 years of working in general and addiction psychiatry, my path has been one of discovering the value in helping individuals learn how to heal themselves. I work with people from a shared decision-making model. Authenticity and non-judgment drive my practice. I don’t believe that all people need medications, but some people can certainly benefit from them.

My clients can expect to take away some tools for growth, but most importantly a feeling of non-judgment. I firmly believe that people change at different paces and there is no “right” or “wrong” road to that change. I see treatment as holistic and believe that wellness encompasses the spiritual, physical, and mental realms of existence – and I believe that wellness and illness are culturally-informed.
